These days, running a business – whether it’s online or brick-and-mortar – it is vital that you be computer-friendly. This means that you must have a web presence, and you need to make your business relationship building materials as computer compatible as possible.
A web presence is the first step for any business, as it is among the most crucial elements of today’s marketing strategies. After all, the internet is one of the most heavily used methods that people use to search for businesses that provide the products and services that they seek.
If your business is not online, then you are holding it back from innumerable potential opportunities.
Similarly, when you are spreading the word about your business, and forming new contacts and business relationships, you must also keep computers in mind. It is much more common for people to keep their contact information on their computers than it is to have a rolodex.
Therefore, if your business card is computer-friendly, then you can be assured that your prospects will be much more likely to maintain your contact information in a place where they will be able to find you quickly and easily when the time comes to contact you.
The digital business card - DigiCard is not only ready to be stored with other vital traditional business cards, but it is also computer-friendly by nature. These cd business cards can simply be popped into the CD-ROM drive so that it’s information can either be accessed directly by the computer, or saved onto the computer for later reference and use.
This makes the contact process so much more accessible, that you will become the natural choice for any prospect. Anything that will make your business more readily accessible on the computer will have customers lining up at your door.
Can your regular business card do that? Didn’t think so!
This blog post, as with every post here, you’ll learn about the many advantages, uses, marketing strategies and perspectives with cd business cards and digital business cards. With every new issue, you’ll get to know how to give yourself a step above the competition.

Usually this blog talks about how to get the most out of your own cd business cards. However, it’s important to remember that there is an awful lot that you can get out of the business cards you receive from other people, too. If you’re like most people, you’ve either stacked the business cards you’ve received in a pile, or perhaps you’ve tossed them in a drawer.
Indeed, this does mean that you’ll always know where to look for them, but it doesn’t help you find them quickly when you need them. That’s no way to build your business.
Without properly filing your business cards, their information will be time consuming to find, and that becomes expensive over time. So do yourself a favor and clean out your desk. Develop your own system for organizing, prioritizing, and following up with your important business card contacts.
Among the best ways to do this is by going “old school”. That means remembering your ABC’s and putting everything in alphabetical order. It’s up to you to decide how you will best remember the information to find it. Will you alphabetize it by company name, the name of the individual, or by overall category (similar to the yellow pages)?
You may even choose to organize your business cards by date, or by the event where you received the cards. The trick is simply to select one way and then stick to it. For example, don’t file some cards by business name, and others by the name of the individual. It will only be time consuming and frustrating when you need to find the business card in a pinch.
Most importantly, don’t forget to follow up with the contacts you’ve made who gave you their business cards. Create a schedule for yourself, including goals for making phone calls, writing letters, or emails – and stick to it. Occasionally go through your business card filing system and update it, or get rid of anything that has gone stale.
By keeping organized and staying in touch with people, your business is sure to thrive.

It’s obvious that business cards are extremely popular in the business world. It feels as though everybody in the world has one. That being said, it’s not necessarily easy to have your business card stand out among the dozens, if not hundreds of other cards any of your recipients will already have received.
True, traditional business cards have become quite fancy, including glossy ones, funny-shaped ones, double sided ones, and even folded ones that double the surface area, but essentially, they’re all the same. They provide limited contact information, and that’s it.
CD business cards, on the other hand, are the innovation that people who are serious about their business and personal success have come to rely upon.
This is because it’s not just the standard small piece of cardstock. Indeed, it is the same size and relative shape as a traditional business card, but the difference is that it will play in a CD-ROM drive and share your entire message – not just your contact information.
This is a big difference for your marketing strategy. After all, just because somebody has your contact information, it doesn’t mean that that person will remember you, or make the effort if they do. You have to answer their question “what’s in it for me?”
The cd business cards allows you the space and technology to answer that question. You can take the time that you need to get your message across in the most efficient and effective way possible. It’s like having a virtual sales person working on your side whenever your recipient is most responsive to receiving your message – because that is when your recipient will place the digital business card into his or her CD-ROM drive to have a look.
Furthermore, your DigiCard, being different and impressive, will encourage your recipient to take the time to investigate what it’s all about. It’s not just the standard piece of cardstock. It is like a treasure chest with something special inside, and your recipient will want to find out exactly what that is.
What is it? Your message, by way of documents, catalogs, video tours, PowerPoint presentations, or even an audio message. It’s your choice: you have ample flexibility to find the best way for your business to share its message and encourage recipients to take action.

One of the absolute worst things that you can do in the business world is to forget your business card. There is simply no excuse for not having your business cards on you at all time. Every time you meet someone new when you don’t have your cards on you, you have lost an opportunity.
This means that if you regularly find yourself without a business card on you, then you are regularly losing money for your business – or at least losing the opportunity to make money.
Remember, your business card – especially when you have a cd business cards – is the most important tool that you have in your overall marketing strategy. It is what your current and prospective customers rely upon to learn more about you, and to remind them that you are the right person to do business with.
Furthermore, it goes against business etiquette to be without your business card. After all, it is a compliment to be asked for your business card. If somebody requests your card and you don’t have one on you, it puts both you and the person who requested it in a rather embarrassing situation. It also tells this person that you may not be as fit for the job as they’d thought only a moment ago. It says that you’re not serious about your business, or that you are simply too careless to be trusted with their business.
Here are some great ways to help you remember your business cards at all times:
- Develop a marketing strategy that actively uses your business cards to promote your business.
- Make sure that your business cards are DigiCards, so that you are certain that your information will make the kind of impact that you want.
- Carry a business card case that you like. Consider it an investment, and make sure that you’re proud to show it when you share your card.
- Carry your business cards in lots of different places, such as your briefcase, your gym bag, your glove compartment in your car, your jacket pocket, and your desk drawer.business cards business card case business world cd business cards cd business cards marketing strategy marketing strategy prospective customers

Also known as the “name squeeze page” or “lead capture page”, you can build your mailing list by funneling all of your would-be subscribers through the creation of a landing page. Not only do you do the work just once, your traffic driving efforts can be focused onto just one effective method.
The following are tips in creating a successful landing page that converts visitors into subscribers on a very huge percentage.
- Success Tip 1: Offer a freebie in exchange for your visitor’s email address. I very much endorse this method of building your mailing list. You can offer a special report or a sample of your paid product to your visitor in exchange for their details such as name and email address.
- Success Tip 2: The landing page must be written professionally. When writing your page, treat it as if you are writing a sales letter. While you are not necessarily making a hard sale or try to get someone to buy your product upfront, being able to entice your visitors to give their details to you is just as important as selling.
- Success Tip 3: Other than your opt-in form and perhaps important disclaimers and terms, there shouldn’t be any other links on your landing page.
- Success Tip 4: Rub in the benefits of the freebie you are offering more than a mere subscription to your newsletter. You should focus most of the attention of the letter on encouraging your prospective visitor to download your free offer. Later, you gently remind your prospect that he or she has nothing to pay but just merely subscribe to your newsletter in exchange for the freebie.
As a final reminder and conclusion, in order to build trust, you can include your hand-written signature or a photo of yourself explaining where you are coming from and how you can help your visitor through your free report on offer.

Your networking should be considered a vital part of your overall marketing strategy. As such, it also deserves specific attention with a networking vision that contains goals, a mission, and the message that you wish to spread. Your networking can be done just about anywhere – as long as there are people there, and somebody who may be interested in what you have to offer.
Consider networking to be the first step you take toward a mutually rewarding business relationship. This first step, is a skill, and one that you can learn with the right knowledge on your side.
In her book “NETWORKING: 17 Essential Strategies in the 21st Century,” (available at ebookmall.com) Patricia Dorch – best-selling author, national speaker, trainer, and career coach – teaches the many different angles and techniques that you can use to get the most out of the people you meet and make contact with every day, and at different events.
Within that guide, Ms. Dorch describes everything from making the right kind of first impression, to the right time to share a business card, and the way in which you can most effectively make that business card exchange. This will help you to use your digital business card to its best advantage.
For one thing, you’ll learn that cd business cards shouldn’t simply be handed out to everybody you meet, for no reason at all. To make the best impact and obtain the most favorable results, you’ll discover that you need to first find a reason for exchanging contact information with the person you have met. Don’t just jab your cd business cards at your prospective clients; manage your conversation in a way that it leads to further contact beyond the initial meeting. Then your DigiCard will be seen as useful and appropriate!
By applying the best overall networking techniques with the technological advantage of the digital business cards, you’ll be able to network well in person, and then extend that great first impression when the recipient of your DigiCard places it into his or her CD-ROM drive.

It should come as no surprise to you to hear that blogging has quickly become one of the most effective marketing techniques online. There are currently over 14 million blogs online and another 80,000 more blogs are added every day. Of the 50 million current internet users, a full 30 percent of them are blog readers. Many people are reading and writing blogs, and companies have to learn to take advantage of that fact to get the most out of their marketing strategies.Furthermore, when you do have a blog, you need to spread the word and remind people to visit often. Little is more effective for doing just that than a DigiCard CD business card with a link to your online blog. It will introduce your blog to every recipient of your business card, and will provide with them with the occasional reminder they might need to visit the site once more and check up on the latest changes.
Think of your blog not only as a fun and interesting way to share your news and updates, but also a powerful tool that allows for communication between you and your clients, suppliers, and other businesspeople who are important to your company. The blog, especially when it is connected to your digital CD business card, where it can reinforce the message already presented on the card.
This offers results in an extremely cost-effective way.
Further advantages of a blog shared by way of your DigiCard CD business card include:
- Awareness and brand loyalty
- Effective feedback for continuous improvement
- Word-of-mouth/mouse – as the business card is shared, so is the blog
- Speed of communication
Best of all, blogging is not difficult to start. It is a good idea plan the blog first, instead of jumping right in, to ensure that the blog has substance and direction. It is wise to begin with 20 posts before marketing the blog on your DigiCard. Once you do have the 20 posts, you can add them to the digital business card so that they can be read on- or offline and then provide the link so that updates can be accessed on the internet.
This makes your blogs – and your message – easier to read, access, and share. An incredibly powerful marketing .

Your business card is among the most important parts of your overall marketing strategy. Though the business card was initially designed to give business people a convenient way to hand out their contact information, with the invention of the Digital business card has made it so very much more.
Consider the following:
- You need to start thinking of your business cards not just as your contact information, but as a strategic part of your marketing efforts.
- As a vital part of your marketing strategy, your cd business cards should not only have your contact information on its face, but also your slogan and most important customer benefit(s). This will entice your prospective and current customers to pop your DigiCard into their CD-ROM drive, perhaps a second, third, or fourth time, to find out more, for your full pitch.
- Have you included your 1-800 number on and in your cd business card? If so, the recipients are six to seven times more likely to call you!
- Don’t make the print on the front of your cd business cards too small. Remember that the majority of the business community is currently baby boomers. Since the first year of boomers turned sixty this year, it only makes sense that the text on the front of your card and in the contents of your CD business cards be large enough that it is easily legible by boomers, even without reading glasses.
Apply what you know about marketing on a website to your Digital business card. As a part of the computer world, your Digital business cards can benefit from these same techniques. For example, to make your DigiCard truly invaluable, make sure that it contains something that benefits your recipients. Whether it’s information, tips, a catalog, or something else, try to make it something that your recipient will want to refer to on occasion, so that they’re reminded of you even when you’re not there.

To give your CD business cards that extra bit of “oomph” that it needs to not only catch your prospective clients’ attention, but also to get them to act, it is important that you put every bit of marketing strategy into your DigiCard as you can.
Naturally, the DigiCard teams will be on your side to help you with this, but it is important for you to understand what an important tool your cd business cards will truly be for you when you’re competing for customers.
Even if your business card looks great and you’ve used all of the right techniques – enough to get your client’s attention – are your words doing enough work for them that they’re creating a call to action?
Have a good look at what your cd business cards are really saying. Hold it in front of you and have a good look. What words have you used on its cover, and in its CD-ROM material that describe your business, services, and products?
You need to make sure that your business card stands out not only from the rest, but from other cd business cards holders as well! Remember, your DigiCard will likely be stored in a similar place to other competitors, such as in a business card organizer, or even in a rolodex. Even the slightest difference in your wording can make the difference between unseen revenue and a new client with a strong relationship.
Use your cd business cards to give them a reason to call you. Convince them to do business with you, not the other guy. Include features, benefits, bonuses, discounts, and even coupon codes. Mix and match your marketing strategies to best compliment your products and services, prompting that ever-important first contact.
A picture may be worth a thousand words, but the right words can be absolutely priceless!
