As wonderful as cd business cards are for making your business stand out above the rest, there are still some ways that are better than others for using digital business cards - DigiCards to your best advantage when it comes to creating new contacts and building relationships.
You need to remember that your cd business card is one of – if not the – most important marketing material that you have. Therefore, you need to make very certain that you are catering properly to your target market.
You may already know exactly who your target market is, but you may not yet have already defined this vital group of people or organizations. Knowing your target market isn’t just vital to properly using your CD-ROM business cards, but is simply critical to the overall success of your business and all of its marketing efforts.
Though it may initially take some work on your part, it is well worth the time and energy it will take you to find out specifically who is interested in the products and services that you offer.
Once you know your target market, it’s time to optimize your CD-ROM business card so that it speaks directly to them. This means using the right writing style, the kinds of promotions, documents, presentations, etc, that your target market usually responds to.
By doing this, you’ll dramatically increase the number of responses that your CD Business Card receives. Remember, the digital business card isn’t just about special effects. It is a serious, important, and effective marketing tool that you can make work for you in a very impressive way.
Can your regular business card do that? Didn’t think so!

This is the season for office parties galore. Not only does this mean a great time with the people from work, but it also gives you a great opportunity to network in a very social way.
While you’re loading up on the free food, make sure that you have your digital business cards on hand for anyone and everyone you feel presents a potential opportunity for you.
Remember, though, that networking during the holiday season isn’t exactly the same as the way you create and nurture new contacts throughout the rest of the year. After all, this is much more informal because it’s a party!
Therefore, it’s important that you go in there not with the intention of landing the new job or new contract before the year is through, but instead simply keep things light, try to build on your contact list, and ask if it would be alright if you contact the people you meet in the new year.
Other techniques that you should put to good use are:
- Getting out there to the parties – after all, if you aren’t attending, you won’t be able to take advantage of all of the chances to share your CD-ROM business cards and make new connections.
- Keep your drinking limited – as impressive as your CD business card may be, it won’t be worth anything if you haven’t put on your best networking face when you exchange it with your prospects.
- Dress well – this means that you’ll look clean cut, and attractive, without being too formal, or too sloppy.
- Mingle – after all, the more people you talk to, the more people you can impress with your CD-ROM business cards, and everything else you have to offer.
- Make your cd business cards work for you – don’t just use it as a business card. Remember, it is an impressive tool! Use it as an ice breaker, a segue, and a fantastic conversation piece. It works great in these informal situations, and provides a fantastic reason to share it, even when you haven’t been able to put out a real pitch.

It should come as no surprise to you to hear that blogging has quickly become one of the most effective marketing techniques online. There are currently over 14 million blogs online and another 80,000 more blogs are added every day. Of the 50 million current internet users, a full 30 percent of them are blog readers. Many people are reading and writing blogs, and companies have to learn to take advantage of that fact to get the most out of their marketing strategies.Furthermore, when you do have a blog, you need to spread the word and remind people to visit often. Little is more effective for doing just that than a DigiCard CD business card with a link to your online blog. It will introduce your blog to every recipient of your business card, and will provide with them with the occasional reminder they might need to visit the site once more and check up on the latest changes.
Think of your blog not only as a fun and interesting way to share your news and updates, but also a powerful tool that allows for communication between you and your clients, suppliers, and other businesspeople who are important to your company. The blog, especially when it is connected to your digital CD business card, where it can reinforce the message already presented on the card.
This offers results in an extremely cost-effective way.
Further advantages of a blog shared by way of your DigiCard CD business card include:
- Awareness and brand loyalty
- Effective feedback for continuous improvement
- Word-of-mouth/mouse – as the business card is shared, so is the blog
- Speed of communication
Best of all, blogging is not difficult to start. It is a good idea plan the blog first, instead of jumping right in, to ensure that the blog has substance and direction. It is wise to begin with 20 posts before marketing the blog on your DigiCard. Once you do have the 20 posts, you can add them to the digital business card so that they can be read on- or offline and then provide the link so that updates can be accessed on the internet.
This makes your blogs – and your message – easier to read, access, and share. An incredibly powerful marketing .

- Documents such as information, order forms, registration forms, and many other useful types of documentation that simply need to be printed out.

- Will you be using your cd business card primarily to introduce your business and products?
- Will you be targeting people for making an order right away?

When you’re doing business, it is extremely important that you stick to the right etiquette to make sure that you are coming across as professional as opposed to offensive, sloppy, or rude. Even when it comes to something as common place as business cards, it is important to follow the norms, values, and behaviors in your culture.
By understanding business etiquette, you will feel the most comfortable and make the best impression along with your digital business card. Your cd business card is only as good as your first impression when you hand it over to someone. It should be used to compliment your professional manner and impressive business sense. This way, when your prospective customer, or your client pops the DigiCard into his or her CD-ROM drive, it will reinforce the positive first impression you’ve made.
The following are some great ways to get the most out of the first impression you make with your DigiCard:
- Digital business cards are a vital and universal means of presenting contact details in the business world. Therefore, you are expected to have a good supply of them on hand at any given time, so that you never run short.
- Present yourself as best you can as you hand out your cd business card. Make sure that you’re well dressed, well groomed, and have clean nails. Remember that people will focus on your hand when you’re handing them your DigiCard, so you’ll want to have clean, well maintained hands.
- If you are traveling abroad for business, consider having your digital business cards translated into the appropriate languages.
- Keep in mind that the right time to exchange business cards or DigiCards is at the beginning or end of your first meeting with someone.
- Good etiquette says that you should present your cd business card with the printed information side up.
- When you receive somebody else’s business card or DigiCard, make a point of looking at it, and then, if possible, comment or request for clarifying information before you put it away.

Though a DigiCard is really nothing more than a tiny CD in the shape and size of a traditional business card, it can hold so much more. After all, that little piece of card stock you usually hand out won’t be able to offer your clients flash presentations, video and audio presentations, and other sizable marketing pieces.
Your cd business card can hold your sales pitch, price sheets, and order/reorder forms. Even all of your website content can be placed on your DigiCard so that it can be accessed without an internet connection.
Already, CD business cards are revolutionizing the way we communicate with our prospective and current customers.
It simply makes good sense for the bottom line. How?
- It allows you to tell your customers and potential customers a great deal more about you, your company, and your products, even when you only meet for a brief moment.
- It is much less likely to be lost or misplaced than a paper card, since it is much more interesting, and comes in its own handy case.
- Entire presentations can be placed on CD business cards, allowing you to give your very best sales pitch even when you’re not there at all.
- An entire catalog can be placed on a single digital business cards along with product demonstrations. This creates a huge drive for action.
- You can consolidate all of your product literature, brochures, catalogs, videos, and images into a single high-impact marketing piece.
- Even annual reports can be placed on digital business cards, saving tons of money on those thick, glossy paper reports.

As much as the DigiCard is typically meant as a business card, there are many other ways that you can use your digital business cards for specific and general marketing efforts.
These efforts can include, but certainly aren’t limited to:
- A Visiting Card – did you miss the person you were visiting? Does your prospective client only have a few seconds to talk to you? Let the cd business card - DigiCard - do the talking for you. Whether or not you can actually give your whole pitch to the potential customer, your digital business cards will have you covered.
- A Membership Card – want to make your customers feel important? Give your CD business cards to them as informational membership cards.
- Trade Show Give-Aways – Everybody who goes to trade shows expects to get small, free tokens from the booths that they visit. Make yours an item of value, by giving a DigiCard chalk full of information and marketing materials, instead of the standard pens, magnets and stress balls that just don’t stand out anymore.
- Direct Mailers – when you send information about promotions or new products to your mailing list, include your CD business cards with it. It can contain entire catalogs, sales information, promotions, and lots of other great incentives to buy from you.
- Fundraising – make a real statement to encourage support for your fundraising efforts by putting your marketing strategy on a DigiCard that your customers can view on their home or business computers.
- Video Tours – show your product features, users instructions, or a tour of your facilities without having your prospective customer leave the comfort of their own desk!
Of course, these are only a few of the many different uses for CD business cards. Feel free to come up with many of your own practical applications.
